According to the Toyota Rep, the debris on mine appeared to have been "waxed" over which makes it harder to remove. As I mentioned, they are going to repaint the hood. They are also going to clean it off of the top.

My 99 Durango had one of the best factory finishes I have seen. No debris to speak of. My 06 Camry didn't have any either.

60mph driveline vibration-this related to the folks having their transmissions replaced under warranty when the thrust/throw-out bearing goes bad?

I hate how the TPMS goes on because of weather changes.

I've had mine since March 2007...never had TPMS blink yet, and I'd bet the temp swing in GA is greater than in San Diego.

    6) chirp in AC blower motor (yes I know how to fix it, why should I have to?), squeak in seat when slid all the way back, horrible wind noise at freeway speed. On startup if AC is on a nasty clunk is heard (I assume it's the compressor spinning to life)

Had severe knocking after about 3 months of owning my truck, took it into dealer and was told that there was an issue with spark plug wires, cost toyota $2500...seems high for wires

I wish mine was a wheel balance issue...

    3in Revtec lift
Insanely annoying vib/hum from around 55mph to 65mph. Not the tires or the lift. Is felt only while accelerating, drives me crazy and I want it fixed. Had the transmission mount tsb done two weeks ago and it actually kinda helped but did not fix the problem.

Ac clicks and the damn engine clicks like a mo fo

    6) Owned for about 10 months and took it to the mountains to hit some trails for the first time. Gave the 4x4 a good test, and spun some cookies in some nice soft mud for a bit (I'm not usually hard on my vehicles but thought I'd see what she could do). Immediately began having power steering issues. Turning the wheel all the way any direction makes the PS start whailing, and turning the wheel at a stop takes a lot of strength. No clue what has happened but I'm going to pay the dealer a visit.

    6) 200 miles. No problems as of yet. Well except that the lady gets to drive it to work since she only has a 5 mile commute and mine is 60. The VW gets just a little better mileage.

I have noticed my trans is not shifting correctly when I change to 2wd from 4-hi. I notice it when I accelerate... My baby will shift hard once and then everything is fine... I can also hear the liner rubbing and on the bed. Oh yeah, and the amp problem for those who have the JBL audio system for which I know there is a replacement going to the dealer about this one in a week or so.
