i did not think they had a shourd. i was under the impression it used the stock shroud.

like above it is the deo kit! If you want I can get a picture of the GM part number.

It does use the stock shroud, I was comparing the one that comes with this fan to an oem taco shroud and the taco shroud is a bit wider than this one. I was tempted to see if it’s possible to use this shroud since it is very nice. Time will tell on that though. I am glad I did not take apart the truck because it started raining and that would have sucked lol.

i think i can find that part number. i recall seeing it in that thread or a link in that thread. are you just piecing it together yourself in stead of buying the assembled deo kit?

I got the whole kit. I will say everything seems to be top notch. My only concern with the kit is the controller has no way of knowing the ac is on, and I am wondering if the fan stays running even when driving at high way speeds. I think that may be bad for it. But then again I think they would have used a different controller if it was a bad thing.

I was amazed that not only did they put the date sooner, they even delivered it at like 10 AM which I was expecting it to show up at like 9 PM lol.

Thank you, I don't have it nearly bad as some people so just hoping I didn't get too many people in my family with it.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

Dude, that really sucks!!! I’m sorry to hear about that. After all the engine work you’ve done recently, that’s a kick to the groin.

And GEARS! 39’s and a supercharger are a lot for that poor tranny. 4:88’s or so, I would think.

Who’s running 39’s? And if they are they need 5.29 gears for sure. 4.88 would be fine for 35’s but anything bigger just needs to jump all the way to 5.29. I need to do that and add a front locker as soon as I find about $3k
