I guess I should get the portable Honda pump out the garage and gas it up just in case . Basement has a tendency to flood when this type of situation arises. Still a lot of snow on the ground ,now the warm rain on the way

 

Merry Christmas Eve guys. I shoveled away from my one at risk window yesterday. The softener empties near there and the ground is wet almost all year.

I'm not aware of it at all. Thats the start of holiday week, so lots of people are there for vacation, and in the hotels and such.

I have aftermarket headlights, and some amber fogs as well.


Had a trooper pull me over later on the way home claiming "the fogs were color changing". They are DOT legal KC G4's. He was just fishing.

Yup that was you! I was looking hard at those lights, they all look good. I had the KC G4's on my old truck never had an issue.

River is close to washing away one of my little bridges. Well it’s a stream and it’s probably up 4/5 feet more than I’ve ever seen it in a few years here and moving 2-3 x as fast it seems.

Hearing that the Hoosic is the highest it has been in years. Flood stage is 12', it is supposed to be at just over 11' this afternoon.

Merry Christmas! Sucks that the snow base is gone. Would be nice to have a base for the whole winter again.

 

Rivers wern't as bad as I expected. My stream was the worst I've seen and its because we are between two big hills and the run off is for real with the snow melt up top allllllll the way down to us

 

We must have 2 inches of snow here now, plow just went by 30 minutes ago or so


Would have been what, 2-3 feet if it was snow yesterday? Would have ruined my Christmas because I would have had to move snow all day. At this point a light shovel for Air BnB should do it. Maybe I'll snowblow super quick depending on how much is actually out there as it lightens up some.
