Open roads in the Vette scare me. Magazines when they came out said anywhere between 172-175 MPH on the top end. During the early stages of the pandemic when no one was on the road, I'd lose track of what gear I was in and it pulls just as hard from 50-70 as it does from 70-90 and above. I thought I was doing a 2-3 upshift and I was doing a 4-5 and saw the needle swing somehwere I didn't want it to. Still slower than the Accord, but likely in the break the bank ticket stage.

I'm well past the age of doing anything particularly stupid in that car.

I wonder at what point it's between ticket and a ride to jail..I'm sure at least once I hit the free ride with my Camaro

Been having way too much fun with this flatbed gig I'm doing now.
Here's what 1 of the heads of safety said to me last week.

    Merry Christmas, you filthy animals!

Kids woke us up at 5:30 this morning when they found what Santa brought. It’s warm, raining and blowing really hard outside, i’ll be surprised if we don’t lose power today. Side note, i’m really impressed with this new camper cover, it’s been through a lot of high wind situations so far and it’s still looking good!

welp, my neighbor's fence is gone. good thing it isn't high tide or the street out of my neighborhood would be flooded. i would've preferred another snowstorm to this wind.
