Has anyone experienced this ? This summer at about 13,000 ft in the Rockies everything was going great until we stop to check out our line, after a look got back in and I had little to no power, it was bad enough to force us to turn around and go back down. This was a TRD offroad 4LO locker on, Now I really like my truck hell it's the 1st new truck I've bought in many years but Damn I've done the same trail in craped out Jeeps. Anyone have a clue

Some vehicles don't like rapid altitude gain, you also may have an issue with the fuel pump that was recalled. What year is the truck?

Happened to me once in 4lo on a steep incline. I was at @ 5,000 ft of elevation which is my every day elevation where I live. My truck just bogged down, I asked about this random occurrence when I was getting the rear main seal done recently and was told the knock sensor(s) were adjusting the timing? I admit the incline was pretty challenging.
The weird thing was I had gone up the same incline before, in 4hi and no issues.
No lights on or warnings sounds at all.
On a side note my oil pressure warning came on going down a very steep decline. I immediately threw it in neutral and shut it down when I managed to get to the bottom with hardly any brakes which sucked. Turn it over and drove off.

NorNev thanks for the reply, I'm a low lander just on one of my trips to Colorado and this really sucked, now I've no faith in a truck that's by all accounts one of the best on the market, I did the same trail 2 years earlier in a Jeep JK that I always thought was a turd but without all the electronics, this problem has prompted me to build a CJ for my next trip West, Hell I can drive a 50 year old Jeep with 4 sticks coming out of the floor but I'm just to old and or dumb to drive a new truck, What the Hell
