    Merry Christmas Beer Nerds. Enjoying some brews on a very non-traditional Christmas (just the wife and I).

    Today started out not so good as the refrigerator decided to crap out. That said, I’m grateful for two specific things. First, the cold Wisconsin weather. I’ve got everything in a couple of coolers sitting outside. Second and most importantly, that I purchased a beer fridge about a month ago. Imagine the tragedy of warm beer!!

    Man, I'm so freaking jealous! I got station out here in germany alittle over four years ago and it seems like the beers in the states have exploded in style/variety. Don't get me wrong, german beer is good but im super excited to get back and indulge.

    Yea man all I drink now are hazys from only 3 breweries basically: Alvarado Street, Revision, and Moonraker. I guess I’ve become a snob haha

    It’s the cool trendy thing to do for these micro breweries. It’s basically because a lot of these beers are one off releases so they just have the blank cans they can use for any beer. Like with Alvarado Street, they release 3-4 beers a week and then you won’t see most of them ever again.
