Oh I currently have 156K on my truck. I even had the clutch replaced at around 100K. The stealership who fixed my truck told me the bad clutch was due to a defect in the flywheel, and a failed hydraulic system..Bad string of luck I guess.. Even when the truck was brand new off the lot, the clutch was tougher than any MT I've driven before or after. It was no problem at all back then, but now I have just too many compound physical injuries from my time in service.

Just my last ditch attempt to find some good advice to keep my truck. Figured best place to ask is from all the experts here in tacomaworld. I've started looking into 4th gen AT 4runners as my next vehicle to meet my needs. Anyways, I appreciate all the help guys. Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a happy New Year!

I’ll bet someone who’s very creative could design something out of using a vacuum brake booster. I’m sure someone smarter than me will say no it won’t work because...

My understanding is a manual transmission has less parasitic loss than an auto. Just something I’ve heard, which could be incorrect also.

I am a self professed MT snob. But I will also say that AT’s have come a loooong way from what they were 10, 15, 20, years ago. Much better. You should make the swap and I’d bet you won’t regret it.

I finally replaced the fluid in the hydraulic clutch system with this low viscosity fluid as well as bleeding it very thoroughly.
The clutch felt heavy on cold winter mornings before things got up to temp and it was feeling heavy at times. After replacing with this fluid, it's a bit easier to depress and all around just feels better when operating even when up to temperature. Its not a huge difference but my "leg dyno" says its maybe 10% less resistance than before. I also stated previously that I have the CDV deleted as well which is the best thing I've done in the clutch category of mods.
OP, for your needs, don't bother. Get an AT and be happy.
