    I’m trying to replace the hideous chrome taillights that came with my 2020 OR. I prefer keeping the oem look and thought about getting the 2020 TRD PRO taillights but they seem hard to find so I narrowed it down to few interesting options out there from Spyder and Winjet. They look ok but all seem to have a conflicting reviews though about blown fuse, hyper flashing or not functioning at all. I want to replace my stock lights asap but don’t want to risk having to replace or even worse causing a damage to the electrical. Does anyone have good experience using the one by Spyder, if not which aftermarket taillights would you recommend?

    You can always tint the tail lights. Save a lot and will make the chrome disappear.

    I would stick with OEM until you can find non chrome OEM lights, rather than play with the Chinesium lights.

    Keep your eyes open on this and other sites such as FB Marketplace and Craigslist, I picked up a set of OEM taillights off of a 2017 TRD Sport for $50, including LED bulbs. Helped the look of the rear of my 2020 TRD OR a lot.

    OEM seems like a wise option. Thanks!

    I’ve thought about it but i’m terrible with the tint I couldn’t even tint my logo. Blacked out oem might be the way to go for me.

    I feel the same way about the chrome tail lights on my 2021 Sport. A viable solution is just to "downgrade" to the current year SR/SR5 tail lights. An OEM set can be had for about $300 and a quality aftermarket set for less than $200. I don't understand why the chrome is considered better.

    I had headlights from Spyder on my F150 and they were junk. One low beam burned out within a year. Chinese crap.

    I hated the chrome tail lights on my OR also, went with the black OEM TRD pro lights. $129.66 each from cheapest factory parts.com a few weeks ago.

    There were some replica TRD Pro tail lights that looked the same and were cheaper but I didn’t want to have to worry about water getting in or quality issues down the road. So I stuck with the OEMs. The price difference was worth it for me.

    If you end up going OEM, make sure to stop by MESO. Get the stage one taillight kit. You won't be disappointed.:thumbsup:

    The TRD Pro tails have a clear outer layer. All they do is substitute black for the chrome inside the housing. Not much of an improvement. I like a solid red lens better, like the one on the SR/SR5 tails. (Everybody's taste is different, of course.)

    Stock is too red for my tastes.

    Top = stock OR
    Bottom = pro
