so they have very different designs, because of the way the Diamondback functions.

i actually don’t know that I’ve ever tried using a DB cover and the latest version of the SideRide. It might work with modification, but it won’t be as optimized.

the DB cover mount might also work just as well for the softopper, that I have not tried yet.

@philth tested his fat tire on our rear mount and it fit, although I’m not sure what width his tire was?

Maybe a stupid idea, but what if you turned the fork mount 90 degrees so that the handlebars wouldn't stick out so far? I think it would need to be angled up too to account for the fork rake. Cool idea regardless!

The main reason I stay away from that is some fork mounts not being stable enough to be mounted 90 degrees.

Once I design and manufacture my own it won’t be a worry for me.

Thank I appreciate the feedback!

I haven't used a fork mount bike rack in so long I wouldn't even have a clue :D. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

27.5 x 4.50 fit snug. You'll have to strap the rear up a little differently, but it'll work no problem.

I have yet to actually test it on the truck (as I don't have mine yet), once I do, I'll mount everything up and post some pics here. Late Jan/Early Feb.

The mounts themselves are extremely high quality and craftsmanship, very impressed. Just had them powder-coated.

Just a warning: most states restrict side loads to extend out no further than your mirror. Others require flags if a side load sticks out so far.

You are risking a ticket, and possible liability for damages in an accident...

    Check your state laws.

This would make me super nervous. Most fork mounts are solid because there’s no ability for the fork to rotate (around the would be axle) on the mount when in the natural position. When rotated 90 degrees, it would only be the tension of the bolt/nut combo keeping the bike upright.
