Seat Jackers might be what your looking for. I have a set on the front mounts of my driver's seat. Incredible improvement in the driving position and comfort.

Lifting the front of the seat up an inch makes all the difference. The back of the seat stays in its original floor mounts.

Another vote for the Desert Does It front seat jackers. There was no support for my thighs and after an hour or so I would get achy and be constantly shifting around. With the jackers I can now drive comfortably for several hours. Over the top quality too. I also got the multi mount panel which is of equal quality.

Wouldn’t have bought my Tacoma if I didn’t know about the seat jackets. I absolutely loathe the original driving position that the seat provides but with the seat jackers it’s an incredible improvement.

Holy F-ing cow. Those little seat adjusters are $200 for both seats?!? There is apparently a "Tacoma" Tax like the "M" tax for BMW M cars, only worse. Even that OV tune that should probably be only a couple hundred bucks costs nearly double that of a top level 100 WHP/TQ gain tune with Bootmod3 for a BMW M3/4 that not only gets you that super smooth power but allows you to modify all things powertrain related in the car with a click of your finger. Seeing how much demand there are for mods for the Tacoma, you'd think there would be a shit ton of aftermarket companies jumping to get our business.

That’s the issue. Since there’s not many companies that make Tacoma stuff they can charge whatever they want. Ovtune is different though he basically single handedly cracked the taco code and that took years.

My lower back aches after about 2 hours of driving. Think these would help?

Not sure about the lower back ache, my pain was in the hip/thigh area due to lack of support from the seat. Im 5'11. Those seat jacks made a huge difference.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to raise the front of the seat, it's already jacked up in the front

I'm 5'11" with a 30" inseam. Without the jackers it felt like all my weight was being supported by just 2 points - my heels and the bones in my butt. My legs & thigh muscles seemed to be always engaged, after about an hour I would get achy and restless.

Yes, at first these seem stiff priced, however "buy once, cry once" -- after a few comfortable hours behind the wheel the cost doesn't seem to matter. And they are beautifully made as well.

Funny/sad: Overall I feel Toyota did a great job on the interior layout both style and ergonomics. However it almost seems that the guy in charge of the seat/steering wheel area design was having a really lackluster day. My 23 year old XJ Cherokee has more comfortable seats than a new 35K Toyota.

I use the DD front seat jackers. I'm 6'1"...fixes the seat angle for me but very tight between steering wheel and thighs. I like them though they help a lot

Not even close for me. I had between 3/4"-1" of space between the front of the seat and my thighs, so my legs had zero support.

The price is relative when you think about the product, it’s one solid hunk of aluminum and not just a bunch of washers with a bolt. Remember that those bolts are what’s keeping your seat attached to the vehicle. If an accident happens I want to make sure that my seat stays in place. I wouldn’t trust sitting on a bunch of 5 cent washers. Buy once cry once or in this case buy right die right. By die right I mean at an old age in my bed and not in a car accident.

These seats feel the totally opposite to me, feel like a sliding board with the front way too low. I have long legs and get no thigh support, can about fit my fist between my thigh and the seat and would like the front raised.
