Spent the day with Family but want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas even though it's after midnight.

    upload_2020-12-26_1-13-40.jpg

May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, drink beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you, and all your heart might desire.
May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night,
and the road downhill all the way to your door...
Most of all, may the good saints protect you, and bless you today. And may troubles ignore you, each step of the way.

    Merry Christmas

No, we kill the things that McDonalds uses to kill people. Legitimately, we're a supplier.

Morning Pa, nineteen degrees here in my corner. Had a good Christmas day. Not planned until Christmas eve, we had my Son and his girlfriend, and Amanda's Daughter over for Christmas. We did a spiral cut ham, mashed pots, mac n cheese, green bean casserole, corn, rolls, and deserts. Everything was perfect, very good day! Son's girlfriend showed us pictures of my future Grand Daughter on the computer from her latest ultrasound. Twenty twenty has tried to pull us down, but with faith and perseverance we rise above this pandemic! Happy Saturday all!

I’m just happy I got my power back on today. Lost it Xmas eve during storm and it didn’t get turned back on until late last night. Ran extension chords across to neighbors house who was hosting Xmas dinner. Received a nice note saying I saved Xmas with a case of my favorite beer attached. 2020 just keeps biting back.

I am lucky I am to far off the road the cable company said they would only run the cable if the poles were already installed I asked about underground I was told they did not do that type of work.

Then I asked could I run the cable underground nope have them hook their side up. I could not do that either .

Maybe things changed to late now.

No doubt I would need a new TV it has been an easy 20 years since I watched any.

My work commute used to take me through a state park. I kept heavy boots and a blanket in the car in the winter, in case I ever got stranded and had to hike out. I never used them, which is fine by me.

Hmmm. Our neighbor is on a flag lot and ran their own underground cable out to the road. Cable company didn't seem to mind. (Service Electric. They do suck by the way.)

I got fed up a few years back. Went to streaming and am saving around $120 a month compared to our last cable bill.
I have the same with Hulu live, could only get 1-2 local channels with the antenna. I’m at $80/month, plus internet.

Ginger the pavement princess had to sit outside in the rain for a while.

How I spent my Christmas Eve: Wife said her car (97 Subaru) was vibrating, after work I drove it and it was all over the road. Driver wheel pointed straight, passenger wheel pointing for a left turn, hmm...

Control arm rusted through at the front mount, I had noticed it looked suspect doing an oil change and had just received the part last week -- and would have changed it last weekend if we hadn't had that minor snow storm...

EZ fix and the parts were cheap too. :)

This little Subaru has been a great car, we have had it 5 years and this is the first ever unscheduled repair. (Can't talk her into a 4 Runner)
