You’ll love that thing if you haven’t had one before, ours is 11 years old and we use it all the time!
Amazing view! It’s 36 degrees this morning, all of that insulation in the playhouse walls paid off! We were snug and cozy in there last night. Mom and dad slept downstairs, and the boys got the loft.
Just got the turkey on the smoker while drinking some coffee and watching the oldest play with his new R/C truck in his pajamas!

Y’all aren’t used to it being that cold there are you?

Real feel here is -2° right now with 34° for the high today.

I never understood how ice acts as an insulator but they do that here as well on strawberries to keep them from freezing.

We're supposed to be high of 38 today and what was a hint of possible good amount of snow late in the week now may come earlier. It's always a guess until it's upon us. Anymore they speak of large amount I figure a dusting, when they mention dusting I get nervous. Wondering what to do today...something besides :ohsnap:

Reminds me years ago A certain company in Jacksonville says it never freezes here We don`t need Antifreeze in the fleet.

Sadly the night it did freeze a bunch of blocks cracked I heard that story from the Truck Manufacturer Rep

Scary 30 years seems to have passed so very fast

I’ve been looking for deer since we’ve got here. Found 7 so far this morning.

One was really far away in this field, I’m guessing 1,000+ yards away.

We just saw the other 6 about 200 yards away. It’s cool seeing them in the snow from the warmth of inside.

Good to hear! This is our first one so I'm still getting exclusion zones for areas I don't want it to do (it got seriously high centered on my wife's fan and doesn't like our hung up clothes being that close to the floor) then I need to figure out a schedule for it.

I'm contemplating if i need it to learn the basement floor plan, too, or if i just make the kids vacuum down there.

Ours is (obviously) an older model, but they still make it, if that’s a testament to the Roomba brand. It’s not a WiFi enabled one, just has the virtual walls to keep it in the areas you want. You’ll certainly learn what things in your life you’ll have to adjust so it’s happy and doesn’t get hung up, but after you make some adjustments, it’s really nice. We’ve contemplated getting a newer model and using the old one for porch and mother-in-law quarters duty, but it’s such a good machine that we just keep it in regular service.
