No noise clunk at all this morning while in S3. I'll try again when I go home.

Exactly. How is this acceptable to people? I've never owned a vehicle that's clunked for zero reason, and everyone seems to think this is normal?

My first reaction is that yer tranny is low on juice...…...Mine was 1 1/2 low from the dealer.

Mine was over a quart low too but that issue was rectified a long time ago.

When I brought my truck to the dealer for its 15k service (a whopping tire rotation), I complained about this problem yet again. They performed TSB 0058-18 which is an ECM reprogramming. It didn’t 100% eliminate the clunk going from 2nd to 1st but it’s a huge improvement. I’d recommend giving this a try to anyone experiencing this problem.

I forgive my truck a lot of it's small issues simply because it's not a POS Colorado.

Mine does it only if I let off the brake right at the two one shift.

That’s when mine was the worst too but I have felt it under mild to light braking as well. Big improvement since the TSB was performed though.

Mine dis the same, felt like someone hit me from behind.. the issue was the deiveshaft slip yoke that went dry ( non servicable parts ) so I followed a thread here and greased the spline. Solved

Mines been doing this for a while. Only when it’s cold outside. Brought it to the dealer to complain about it many times. They said it’s documented so if it continues to happen it’ll be warrantied....

Have you noticed that it still does it if you’re real low on gas? Like less than 40 miles range? I have a very like noise in mine like the one described but I am positive it’s just gas sloshing in the tank because it doesn’t do it when it’s full and doesn’t do it when it’s super low.
