I traded my 2017 Taco in for a 2020 a few months ago. The one feature that is missing, that I guess Toyota just did away with is the truck bed LEDs that came standard in the 2017. Anyway, the light kit was on my Amazon wishlist and someone got it for me.

Can someone please post the quickest/easiest video or link to knock out that particular installation? The reviews said it was a pretty easy one, but it didn't get into specific details of how to install. Thanks.

Oh, I just assumed that it was. I had a 2017 SR with no real additional features. It had the lights, which I found to be super useful. At the dealership, I asked about the bed lights on the new truck and the guy said "Yeah, I have no idea why they stopped making them standard". He indicated that you wouldn't even order them off the line that way anymore. He did say that all the Tacos continue to come pre-wired for them. I can see the spots to pop off and install them. Strange.

I think they are an option from 2020 forward. Id like to put some on my 17

They were super helpful. Probably the biggest noticeable difference that was great between my 2014 and my 2017. That and the slow dropping tailgate. Definitely worth grabbing.
