    *heloo all of you , i want somebody to help me for a problem i faced it with my tacoma 2006 vvti 2.7 l manual and these are pictures of problem (i mark the problem by redline)

    as you see the part wich cover the manual transmition is broken , so who can help me, how can i know the name of this part? and where can i find it or buy it from website like ebay or any other websites for carparts?

    Welcome to TW. This is one hell of a first post.

    Soooooo how did that happen?!?! :eek:

    You might want to familiarize yourself with the service manual so you know what you're getting into when replacing the extension housing. Look in the section for the R155 manual transmission. If you're 4wd it'll be the R155F.

    Not sure if you can buy that housing but I would check www.toyotapartszone.com

    Dosen't look like you got the actual transmission case. You got/broke the tailshaft cover/shift lever housing.

    You hit some shit pretty good there dude.

    Who only knows what other kind of damage that was done from that kind of impact.

    Provide a little backstory and you'll get more help. Everyone's been asking how you managed that and mentioned that there could be additional damage. Answer them and they'll answer you.

    that part is called the tailhousing. best place to find one would be at a wrecker.
