There is no best because they all are the best at what they do. Plain and simple.

I am a little biased in my opinions of SOF, but like Ross said, each is unique and has specific skill sets and ways of operating.

No Mudflaps, Fog lights on all the time, Map light/Dome light mod, Door sill protectors, In-channel window guards, Re-badged and sock-monkeyed,many more to come.
Agree with every one, but you pick one team that HAS to accomplish every possible SF mission, I think you'll find the seals on top.

Now I'm going to go say three hail mary's to the Army gods for heresy.

    Navy SEALS

    but im partial to them.
my brother in law in a seal, and he took shrapnel to the head from an RPG, and lives to tell the tale, full recovery. He still has shrapnel in his brain and randomly throughout his body....

The difference between Delta aka CAG & ST6 aka DEVGRU. Is like Ross said anybody can try out for CAG. But you got to be a SEAL and have went through BUDS to try out for DEVGRU. Morale of the story is their all a bunch of bad asses.

A heartfelt thanks to ALL of our military.

You guys (that means, gals, too. It's a midwestern thing :D) are one of the bright spots that give us all hope for the future.

Thanks for your service to our country.

Now I'll get the Hell out of here...being a civilian and all.

    Edit: Sorry. I'm off topic...

    Lots.
I realize I left off many. I just wanted to include the major special ops forces.

You also left off some Tier Ones (Black Ops)...
    Asymmetric Warfare Group (US Army)
24th Special Tactics Squadron (US Air Force)
    Intelligence Support Activity (US Army)

I also left off the French Foreign Legion. Besides their goofy uniforms they are probably some of the most BA mothers on the planet. There are many Americans in the FFL.

I'm definitely not an operator, but I have trained with Rangers and guys from the 160th. From talking to these guys, it seems to me that guys from many of these units are task organized in operational detachments. I appreciate the job all of these guys do, and the job conventional forces do to support the many missions the Military is conducting throughout the world.
