Do you ever take a day off????

 

6 in a row, but I don't get on TW too much when I'm off

 

Hope all that extra dough is going towards an early retirement.

I'll retire when I die I actually work 4 days at the end of the week and 4 days of the first of the week. It just works out better than trying to work 4 on/3 off

 

Do you get like triple time and a half for working Christmas?

 

Nope. We only get time and a half from 12a-11:59p on the 25th only. If by chance you're in OT already, you still only get time and a half rather than double time. We also only get 3 days of holiday pay(Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

No, it's only time and a half Our OT/Holiday isn't anything to be thrilled about. The great thing is, I have a job that isn't going anywhere and also great insurance with my diabeetus

 

I worked over 30 years on salary, pay was always the same and had to work most holidays and a lot more than 40 hours so I know how it feels to see others get extra pay and I never got extra. The last 2 1/2 years I worked they started paying us a little extra for weekend work.

 

More money would always be nice, but my bills are paid and I can buy a few extra things every once in a while......so I can't really complain
