IMO education is the solution. School age children are taught a surface level knowledge of the constitution and Bill of Rights but not how to read it themselves or what it means for their daily lives. A friend of mine teaches a Civics class at a home school co-op every year (well, pre-COVIDshe did) and I always bought 2 pocket constitution pamphlets for each of her students; one for them and one for a friend. They were $0.99 when bought in bulk.

Also, my family has a Christmas tradition of 3 gifts; something you want, something you need, and something educational. This was my 2 mo. old son's educational gift this morning.

I hate shopping on a computer but looking at stocks. So far the Magpul STR, Fab defense GEL skeleton, and Mission first minimalist are appealing but hard to really tell just looking at pics. Any input with experience with these or other suggestions are welcome

I have a feeling this is like asking about tires but go for it

Just have to find what works for you, I’ve been through magpuls, vltor, mft etc. Last one I got was the bcm and really liked it so that’s what I’m still rocking

That’s kinda my concern I don’t want to have to keep buying to find what’s best. Kinda hard when you can’t put them in your hands however. All I know is I can’t stand the one I have now it’s tiny. I completely agree with you though it is deffinately what works best for the individual kinda like how we build these trucks

Take a look at the Daniel Defense stock. It comes with a concave and convex rubber pad. Concave feels very comfortable to me. If you have any shops with decent inventory go shoulder a few.

I have the MF minimalist. I like many things about it(fit, finish, weight). I'm not a fan of the "L" shape that can act like a hook. In the future I'm only looking at closed triangles, or less hook shaped stocks. If you want light weight, solid build quality and a reasonable price this isn't a bad choice.

One of the reasons the Fab Defense skeleton caught my eye. Very minimal but not open

I have a magpul str on one of mine. I like it. I think stocks are one of those things that if youre gonna buy online, you just gotta hold your nose and pick one and hope it works for you.

I agree. I think I can ask advice , although negative quality statements are very handy, and watch all the videos I can find in the end it'l be a crap shoot. I may just wait until I can get my hands on a couple.

This rifle was supposed to have come with the MFT minimalist stock and a MFT grip. It did not however it came with a A2 grip and IDK what in the world this tiny assed stock is. I called the manufacturer they said some whole sellers order them with lesser furniture for cheaper and sadly I ended up paying over MSRP with this current climate.

This is the little stock that is on it some of you may know what it is to me it's just uncomfortable and very hard to get to engage my body well. I'd like some what more of a comb also. The B5 and the FAB defense seem to fit this bill as well as the Magpul.

I wholeheartedly admit some of this is very new to me as my the last time I used one of these it was an A1 with a fixed stock which I have also considered

MF Minimalist is my pick. Less sloppy than anything else out there. Better fit.

They sell a version with paracord that closes the stock and prevents hooking.

And of course it's very easy to do yourself with a few feet of whatever cordage you like and about 5min time.

Well, I suppose I should do that. I'm not sure why I didn't already. I've spent so much time and money tinkering on this project and never thought about solving my last little gripe. I'm sitting her baffled I didn't think of it already. Thanks for the blindspot help.

I put the MF minimalist on mine, feels great, I like it. As others have said, you can do an easy paracord deal that completes the triangle, youtube for that. I wont do that I dont believe, as it may interfere with the QD attachment point.
