The bosses text finally came through at 1:30 this morning. Apparently the guy across the street told him his office light was on. He went and checked it out, doors were still locked and everything looked like it should. Apparently he forgot to cut it off last time he was in

 

In the grand scheme of things, that’s really not that many. I say you’re normal.

How dare you speak of the super family truckster in such a manner? Oh, wait..ok I see the garbage now.

 

This shower door hinge project...I just know how these simple one hour or less projects could turn into disaster. Like a trip to wallyworld for curtain rod and curtain. Wife has replacement hinges and bottom strip that is getting a little nasty. My original thought was sandpaper silver enamel paint. got the kroil creeping in now..

Christmas Day at my sisters cabin in Wyoming.

Too many adult beverages mixed with archery, axe throwing, snowmobiling etc. good food and family.

 

The hinge replacement went better than expected. Then me think I put the strip on backwards. It's a little short to touch the bottom threshold so back to Amazon clickety click for a new one.

 

@six5crèéd can these type of bits be sharpened?

 

Is that a router bit? Do you know if it's HSS or solid carbide?

 

Its not a wood bit, its for metal, i assume carbide? It doesnt say on website

 

Not the best way to tell, but carbide is way heavier than steel if you had 2 similar pieces to hold or weigh to compare. Usually you can sharpen those but you need a jig and a surface grinder or tool bit grinder I believe.

 

I wouldnt attempt it myself.

 

You can use HSS on softer, low carbon steels. What diameter is it?

 

I forgot to mention a Boston creme, 3/4 half round file and some bud light might do the trick too!

 

You won't be able to get anything sharpened if it's carbide. Not with a half-round bastard file.
