    Are there and threads that have the info on the specifics of editing tunes? I finally received my tune pack and was checking out the alternator numbers for AGM batteries. When I changed any values they didn't save even though I did select save when prompted. All threads I've found have thousands of comments and I haven't found anything yet. Thanks!

    Before you change a tune file ....... export it and rename it to your liking. That preserves the original file.

    I haven’t seen an all in one instruction guide on what’s what and how to use it. There is info spread like crazy throughout this thread and I suggest just finding the developers name and using the arrows to skip through his comments only. There’s also a thread about vftuner specifically working with the battery voltage changes.

    I wonder if this is why I cant go faster in low 4?
    It just doesn't make sense to me that only 5th gear is limited...

    No, it's not related at all to any limiters / fuel cuts / shift / etc.

    It's use for load calculations

    @OVTune ,

    If we recently upgraded our ECU per new TSB to 04B33, and if you already sent the tune pack for 04B31, should we send a new email or just reply to original request?

    I’m request 22677.

    Thanks,
    Joe Hwang

    Hey guys I am about to pull the trigger on VF Tuner (already have a Tactrix), and was wondering if there is a way to fast track the ECUID portion so that when I get my license or whatever allows me to use VF on my truck, I am ready to go on day one?

    I may be confused, but from what I (think I) read in these 450+ pages is that you order the software, then you have to submit your ECUID, then you have to wait for weeks to get the golden egg from OV in order to start doing anything with the software?

    Is there a way I can submit my ECUID up front and be ready to rock when they process my order and give me the link to the software?

    Is there a way to save off the pids you want to log? Or is it necessary to select them all every time when you open up the tuner?

    Not yet. After our new PID release there will be a "favorites" option to save what you want.

    So how long after purchasing VF Tuner, will I get the email link to download the software?

    Because the company's name has the word Virus in it. It's the same reason that all their email gets trapped by spam filters.

    Great product, horrible company name.
