You make good points... I guess I just clumped it into the same group as my other short calibers.

One last bump before I list it on Texasguntrader or just decide to keep it. Been eye balling the stoeger P3500 or M3500 shotguns for hunting if anybody has one+some cash for trade? .45-70 is still at the top of the list. Offer up, only thing I’m not really interested in is pistols.

got it mounted up on a 2 slot rail. Will probably look into an Arisoka offset mount and the remote switch little rubber mounts are an absolute pain in the ass

and I’m still figuring out what front sight I want. Thinking fixed front HK style

I have a very similar rail, Aero Atlas. I have an Arisaka offset mount and cloud defense pressure switch mount en route to go with the light. I used a similar method as you on my other rifle, don’t care for how far it hangs to the side either.

I have a the Stoeger M3500 and love it. I highly recommend it if you’re on the fence.

I had one in my hands today and really liked it. Glad to hear some feedback though from an actual owner. I will likely end up with one. Need to move this 300 blk pistol first though.

I’m tempted to trade ya but I think I want to hang on to the stoeger. It’s that good of a shotgun. The guys I hunt with all have benellis and mine is just as reliable if not more reliable. The biggest disadvantage is it’s a little heavier of a gun. I can deal with that for half the price. :D It’s pretty much a benelli anyway:thumbsup:

Lol it’s all good. I just saw on their website they have one in bottomland camo and that’s my jam. I need a do-it-all shotgun that can fire 3.5” shells and I think that’s it. I also want (therefore I need) a 45-70 lever action though so I’m torn lol

It will definitely fit that niche! I have done everything from skeet to turkey, dove and duck hunting with mine. If love a 300 blackout and I’m working on an ar pistol build right now. I may end up going that route.

300 blackout is a cool round, I’m just not into the AR pistol thing I realized. I don’t shoot much unless I’m hunting or plinking with my 22, so figured I’d move on from the saint victor.
