    No, that still needs to be done to figure out the specific ones. But I didn’t see any reason why I shouldn’t change them all. I like my primary map shift points, so having them in all maps was my goal.
    I’m at my hunting camp with no laptop, so if anyone wants to experiment and report, I’d be interested in the findings (if anything other than Cruise Control is changed and what each map controls.)

    I guess my thought was—I don’t know what this map is for, but I know that I want it to be like my primary shifting, no matter what, when or why the ECU uses it.

    There is no time when I say, I wish it would shift like stock.

    Will these changes be incorporated into the various Mild and Wild tunes (3.2?)? I am really glad that you and Moose figured this out. I have tried every 2.0 beta tune and like the M&W the best so far with the possible exception of the 2.0 with the stumble start and map switching.

    I plan on testing out those maps today. Below is what I plan to test, please let me know if I should add anything else. Also, what are some good shift points to really make it stand out? I'm thinking Moose's towing shift points, as I use stock 2.0 shift points (for MPG's). Also, I've seen a lot mentioned about the cruise control maps, but I'm confused by something. Do the maps take affect when cruise control is on or when cruise control is set?

    The truck switches maps when you press “set”
    It used to be an obvious change. Now (with the changes), it uses the same map.
    I’d test with the m+w 3.1 shift points. They are different enough to notice.

    Thanks for that info, I'm comparing the stock 04B81 map right now, and there aren't many changes between all of them.
    Great idea on the M+W shift points. That should be plenty obvious. I was going to go higher because the current tune I have loaded uses the complete wild portion (ECT Fun Button).
    But for testing purposes, I can remove that from the tunes and only include it for the different primary shifting maps.

    I'm just created new maps, this time I removed 5th and 6th gear. Should be easy to tell now.

    For anyone interested:

    I raised global speed limiter to 300 and I still cannot surpass 57 mph or 4200 rpm while in low 4, 5th gear. Logging showed my throttle being cut in half when I hit those speeds / RPMs. Unsure how to address as of now.

    Ok, so far:

    2, responds just like 1.

    3, didn't seem to affect anything cruise control related but didn't test 4 High (have to test on a straight section of road).

    4, made the panoramic cameras no longer turn on when 6 MPH or lower. Likely not the one we'd use for cruise control, so wonder if it has to do with the head unit???

    Just finished up all testing.

    I was able to get into 5th and 6th gear for Cruise Control, Adaptive Cruise Control or combination with ECT. So no single map does the trick.

    Things to consider:
    Primary Shifting - 3 and Primary Shifting - 6 prevents my panoramic cameras from coming on automatically. My reverse camera turns on and I can see panoramic that way, otherwise no panoramic. Not sure why that is... Even pressing the button while in drive but not moving does not work.


    If setting all upshifts and downshifts to the same does in fact work for cruise control, then I think that there is some combination that needs further testing. I, for one, have burned through half a tank already and my laptop is just about out of juice.

    Thanks for your efforts! Seems like this puzzle is still a puzzle. Guess we need to wait for Ovtune to release specific cruise control maps. Im leaving mine like it is, I have a 2016, so no panoramic cameras and I haven't had any ill affects or problems.

    I would, lol. If it's working, why change it. I would like to have different maps between normal and ECT. That way when I create towing tunes, cruise control would work the way old fashioned driving does, and update to the new values when ECT is pressed. Maybe... If we're lucky.

    Today while I was on the highway, I tried ECT while CC was set and there was no change. I assumed it was because I made all my maps the same.
    But yes it would be nice to have CC with a normal/drive map and one with a ECT/towing map (when ECT is on).
