Entune Screen

Does anyone know of a way to disable the dimming of the Entune screen when the headlights are turned on. I've done the Full-Time Backup Camera mod, and when I turn the headlights on during the daytime (like when it is raining) I would like to keep the screen at full brightness.

Cut the wire lol. But then it will never be dim, which sucks when it’s actually dark outside.
I’ve installed a toggle switch before but it involves some cutting and splicing behind the radio

Does the 2nd gen not have an option to change the display like the 3rd gen., Meaning always bright?

It may, I can’t speak for sure as I have a 3rd gen. But I doubt it

No, the 2Gen does not have such an option for the display. It's either bright or dim.

 

I have the Entune with Nav and there is a setting to keep it in Day Time mode.

 

2Gen or 3Gen? Mine is a 2Gen, non-Nav.

Thanks. I cannot find that setting in my non-Nav Entune.

 

I have a 2015 non-nav Entune system. Day Time mode can be found by going to SETTINGS ---> DISPLAY ---> and selecting or de-selecting DAY MODE at the bottom of the screen.
