I use the specs as a guideline. This way I know how bad it sucks. (pun intended)

How do you like the orange hose? Their's a lot mixed reviews on the hose, online.

No, just using as a work/assembly table. Any tools needed would be cordless.

Love it. Way better than the standard "stock" black hose that comes with the vac. It's better constructed and more flexible. It's the 1 7/8" Rigid.

Not a whole lot, been laying low this weekend and spending time with the better half. Went in to work for an hour today just to take care of some maintenance. Took out the four foot wide mirror that was in my taco and put in a factory one- albeit an auto dimmer that this truck isn't wired for.

    Cheers, kids.

very mild here yesterday afternoon. Knocked out a couple of oil changes. My son came across an 04 Grand Prix with the 3.8. Motor has 194k. Single owner. Farmer in his 70s. Absolute cloud on the road and smooooooth. Engine produces impressive power pretty effortlessly. I haven’t paid attention to American cars since I sold the 70 Impala. Thing seemingly sits inches from the ground and most dudes apparently pull the passenger wheel for access to the filter. With all that, he wanted some help his first time through it. Was nice to be needed by someone who’s known so much more than me for all these many years. He he...

made for a good afternoon. After he knocked this one out I had him take care of my Tacoma, which has a Fumoto valve and the top of motor filter, so virtually effortless by comparison.

he’ll be in a Tacoma at some point, I’m confident.

    Wait...is that GP stock? o_O

    :p

That 3800 is a great engine....especially the series II. Started out life as a 90° V8 decades ago. 90° blocks don't make good V6s because they are inherently unbalanced. But Buick kept fiddlin' and fiddlin' with it. And by the time it made the jump to transverse applications (FWD) it was quite a damn fine engine.
