bone stock one owner. And yes, I’ve been finding, through my boy, that these W bodied GM’s with the 3800 have their own little cult and are considered robust motors.

next project is to assist in getting the headlight lenses clear again.

Taking a little road trip this morning to pay a visit to my aunt. Need to get a few things done around her house. Place is 70 years old and she has MS. So I pop in once in a while for a visit.

Got the tools loaded up yesterday. Ya'll have a good day. I'll catch up later on.

There are Grand Prix/Monte Carlo clubs every where. Quite a following. And the beloved 3800 is the thread that binds them all together.

Endless performance upgrades for that engine...superchargers (some OEM), cams, valves, headers...you name it.

Ever heard one cammed out? Because of it's 90° block the exhaust pulses are really spread out. They sound fat and juicy.

I know, I know. I only roughed in and wired the entire garage. I didn't get around to hanging the lights. Absolutely unacceptable.
I went and bought myself a new 56" tool chest- in orange so it matches my truck of course.. And it's not going to be here until early Feb. DISPLEASED.

The Haaabah' Freight one. Considering most things from there are mediocre at best the current US General box I have is sturdy af but just way too small for how many tools I have. We went to the store in Portland and messed with the floor model (I hung off the drawers, gave the wiggle test, etc) and was good enough for me. Better than the crap at Lowes and Depot and after having my SnapOn 60" chest stolen while I was deployed I don't want to spend several grand on another box where I'm not a mechanic for a living anymore. Plus.. orange

Nothing wrong with that. Little narrow but that’s fine. Draws work better than my snap on kr555’s. I have a HF end cab for the house. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. I have like 3 of everything so I’ll move some stuff to my boys when I retire. Good choice. I can’t remember their upgraded ones but they’re like twice as expensive but they look really rocksolid for more professional work. You’ll have an orange party when he gets here LOL

I think my old Snap On was almost $5k, just for the box and that wasn't even for the 'good' one. Nevermind the $10k worth of shit inside of it that took me years to acquire. Sigh.
The new box will actually fit perfectly in the little nook between the landing and closet door in the garage so the size was spot on. You adopting? I'll take some stuff off your hands when you retire if you want! I'm well behaved, spayed, and house broken. :D
