Bestop Supertop Security

Ive been looking to get the Supertop. Ive never seen one in person, and I cant find any online reviews by owners that comment on "security". Ive seen the online video for how to open/close/collapse the top and windows, and I see that there are several zippers. Can those be locked (with small padlocks for instance)? Any Supertop owners have feedback regarding this issue? Do you put gear in the bed of the truck and feel safe about leaving it overnight, for example at a campground or in a town parking spot?

no issues with mine for the past 4 years. The windows are tinted so dark you cannot see in. My thoughts are, "out of sight, out of mind".

 

there's a few guys on here running those....idk but security in the bed = alarm. (switches and sensors added to the bed)

 

Theres no point in locking the zippers when a common pocket knife will cut open any of the panels... Like Dark Knight said, your best option is the out of sight, out of mind approach but that will just keep the honest people from stealing your stuff. You could get a lock box in the bed that would go under the bestop, like a construction box or something similar.
