This is my rig at the moment. Cement color. I was thinking a black hood would complement my Diamondback cover on the back. However I also feel like I have a lot going on in the front, and the CF hood might be 'too much' and make it look tacky.

Nice looking truck! I agree that the CF hood would be "too much".

I could dig that but it would look to much like the new Rubicon hoods.

Interesting... I just went through the whole thread at this point and counted the Yays and the Nays.

    15 yays to 10 Nays

Interesting hood, looks say “fast” but truck says “slow”. :D
One thing to consider is your stock hood is part of the crumple zone helping protect you in the event of a frontal collision. That’s old guy talk though, at a younger age I wouldn’t have cared, so do what makes you happy.
For the record, I think your truck looks awesome just as it is.

That would be us :). The truck being discussed, is indeed a SuperStreet project build.

We are the main stocking master distributor for the offroad line up. Only a couple of the new style ones have been produced so far so there isn't too much photo, or discussion of it. Seibon wanted to create a second version to offer both the OEM style, along with the one mentioned.

As packaged - shipping weight comes shy of 22lbs if anyone is curious on the weight savings, compared to an OEM hood.

We do offer special forum pricing of the hoods and do cover freight shipping costs within the lower 48 (PM us for more details). Feel free to reach out anyone has any additional questions!

Nice looking truck - as-is. IMO, take the money that you would have spent on a CF hood, buy yourself a nice bottle of vodka, then put the $1k in an interest-bearing account, IRA or retirement fund. Then use the vodka to toast to your wise investment. Cheers!

Cool truck but be wary of add-on overload. Too much bolt on stuff gets tacky. It's a thin line!
