eBay UCA the bad, the good and the ugly

Waiting for an alignment so I have a bit of time to do this write up I’ve had eBay UCA on my truck for about 10,000 miles and I’m making this write up for anyone considering these for their truck,
The Good: The design, welds, uniball and hardware are all really solid I’ve done some good wheeling on these and have never had to worry about them breaking or anything. I still keep my stock UCA in the truck just in case but these seem way more solid over stock. The $300 price point for uniball arms is also very appealing considering they’re pretty much total chaos replicas.
The bad: I’ve read write ups of arms not fitting on people’s trucks (either being too tight or too loose) so based off of that you may have to do a bit of grinding or adding washers to get the right fitment), I personally haven’t had any problems with this.
The Ugly: The poly eurathane bushings are garbage and there is no good spot to grease them up without taking the whole arm off, there is a slight popping sound in them when turning and breaking/accelerating, I’ve heard other members have used total chaos bushings and they’ve worked great for them so I’ll probably be going down that same route to get rid of the popping sound.
Overall if the headache of making sure the arms fit right and replacing the bushings is worth saving $500 over name brand for you I’d say do it, and the only thing I could see shitting out on these arms is the bushings

I would love to see the welds on them. I have nothing against Ebay parts on my truck, but something like UCA's is a bridge too far for me.

 

I’ll take a pic for you when I get to rotating my tires today! I was considering welding additional supports to it at first just to play it safe but honestly once the control arms came in I saw no need to because of how solid they are

These are just normal ball joint UCA, wondering what that zerk in the arm leads to seems like an interesting placement for it
