    Hi,
    before I go on I have posted the exact same thing a while back but I brushed it off because I thought I was tripping and maybe I accidentally spilled water by accident. I couldn’t find the problem so I moved on....

    Now we come to today. It’s been raining since last night here in LA and my truck was parked outside all night.

    I go to my truck this morning open the door and noticed “ a few beads/puddle of water” between the channels of my all weather floor mats! Passenger side (just like last time)

    This time I was able to locate where the water is dripping from;

    36FC604D-2888-4AE2-9A6B-F92DDB37D8F6.jpg

    Where can this leak be coming from? Someone mentioned before it could be from the cowl? Blocked ac vent?

    This happened to me twice ONLY when I left my truck parked outside during heavy rain.

    The first time it happened I didn’t have a roof rack. Second time I do have a roof rack. But I checked the roof liner and the rear sliding glass window and everything is dry.

    This never happens when I wash my truck. Another thing I’ve noticed both times this has happened my truck was parked in a “slight” incline.

    Hopefully is nothing serious or damaging anything electrical by the glove compartment.

    thank you guys. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

    Has your windshield ever been replaced? Poor sealing of an aftermarket windshield is a culprit in many leaks like this, and the location fits the pattern, too. I had my windshield replaced in a Nissan Versa many years ago, and every time I would turn my wipers on, a massive puddle of water would splash down onto my feet at the pedals. When the glass company came back to fix their mistake, they found the hole and I couldn't believe how small it was to be allowing that much water in.

    I would definitely start there. OEM or aftermarket... it still comes down to a manual/human process of sealing it up, and it's pretty easy for a small spot to be missed.

    Cabin air filter is dry? Do you have a sunroof? It's not the normal place for clogged drains to leak, but worth a look.

    This is common, unfortunately. The cowl inlet isn’t as water tight towards the rear of the bay and water creeps in between the seams of the sheet metal. I bet you were parked on the incline, facing up. If you park the truck declined, it won’t happen. I have the same problem when I park in my driveway inclined during the rain.

    I’m sure you could open the cowl and add some silicone or seam sealer somewhere* (I haven’t looked into it enough to find out where exactly) it would fix the leak.

    Ghost ship! I was parked in an incline both times. Sounds like I need to make a trip to the famous ghost shop and you’ll be able to check it out!

    The drain tubes go down the A-pillar. I'm not sure if there are any connectors on the hoses. Wouldn't hurt to pour a little water in the drain holes just to rule that out. It drains out by the back of your front wheels.

    I agree that the windshield may be the culprit here.
