I've been seeing alot of bucks on my cameras. Property owner up the road and the property owner next holler over from me both feed them year round. Last pic is from my neighbor Randy next holler over. This big buck shows up at his place everyday lol.

Dangg. No bucks like that where I hunt unfortunately. Just some smaller ones that'll be shooters in a year or two... if they survive until then. Lots of cars around here

All along we've only seen the one coon. Last night there was two on the deck. We think they have nested under the deck. Which is ok by us. If they have babies under there though things might get interesting.

Well, it's just so damn lean and pure it's a sin to change the flavor with cooking. I mean, don't get me wrong, with the right skillet, you could sear those medallions and leave the center rare and it would be great too. The other thing this is perfect for is jerky. The best jerky is any type that has zero fat. Fat makes jerky questionable and unsafe. It can get rancid quick and make you sick. It also makes the jerky tough.

No matter what though, I would try to isolate the venison from anything else if you cook it. Maybe a tiny bit of seasoning, like garlic or onion, but just a little, and some sea salt and fresh ground peppercorns. If you add up all the expenses of how much that little bit of meat costs to put into your belly it will easily be as expensive as filet mignon or even wagyu. Meat like that is best eaten by itself with no other flavors confusing your taste buds. Lesser expensive cuts of meat require ingredient additions, and cooking methods but not these.

You ever watch that program Life Below Zero? We don't know what cabin fever is.

Well, at least you can have a bunk buddy to shoot the shit with. The one woman on that show, a grandmother, is alone 99% of the time. That's freaking hard core!

Took it to Koons Westminster and had TSB-0092-20 done this morning. Initially just heading home I can tell some difference. Will be heading out through western MD and W VA on the way to Indiana in a couple weeks. Waiting to see how it performs on that trip before passing judgement in the difference it really makes.

How do you know if your truck qualifies for the TSB? I think the only recall for my truck is the fuel pump.

I had a pretty solid (for around here) network of trails on my mother's property before the tornado. Now I just have a mess. We've had loggers working to clear the downed trees but it won't be the same in my lifetime. I mostly use my ATV for work processing firewood these days. I'd love to go on a nice long trail ride though. One day I'll make it to Dave's place.

Sweet. There's a tiny amount of info online about going up a size and it's all positive. Not many good resources for an old machine and I don't see too many for sale.
