Parting it out still. Was going to keep the axles and suspension to build another truck but idk anymore. May end up selling everything

 

It's paid off and reliable, may as well keep it. I was gonna part out mine because I didn't use it, glad I didn't.

 

Let me check about Friday. I have a ton of defferred maintenance to do on the truck and a house to unpack but want to wheel bad. I MAY be able to make it happen, I'll text you.

 

It also isn't depreciating in value just sitting there. Come to Memphis and sell it today or 10 years from now and he'll get that 11k asking price and then some.

A lot of people who don't live in Memphis don't know of the car/truck scene here but its huge and wheelin small light vehicles is at the top of that list. Also just owning them to daily drive is a big thing. I'd buy your truck and just daily it.

Hey Rngr, that is one damn cool Taco! I’ve been searching for a Gen 1 DC to turn into an off roader. Really want the DC and auto trans, but this is soooo tempting.

Been out of wheeling for about 8 years. Used to wheel a ‘98 LR Discovery with a 2” lift, 31” tires, sliders, lots of armor. Hard to find places in Connecticut. The LR did pretty well with the center diff lock. Not extreme, but effective.

Ready for the next step up with 34/35” tires, crawler gears, etc.

I’m good with a manual trans, but concerned about wheeling with it. Guess I’d figure it out, though.

I’ll PM you to discuss further, but would be interested in the community’s take on wheel with auto vs manual trans.
