what color to paint skid plate?

im considering painting the skid plate and was wondering what color could "livin up" the front of the truck? i have a gold color truck so i may have to stick with black but i kind of like the silver/crome look to some skid plates. any ideas?

 

Throw a picture up of what it looks like now, make it easier to give opinions.

haha, i dont have any good pictures of it at the moment but its just the factory dull black. i can see it a little more because of my lift so i think a good color could look pretty good

 

maybe color match to the truck?

 

Swallow lots of condoments, puke em up, and throw a dart into the pile. what ever it hits, thats what colour you paint it

personally i like going with rockerguard black just because touchups are easy as hell and that stuff is as tough as nails.

 

I gave mine to a body shop to put black rocker guard on it. Its the stuff they put on the bottom of the doors so you don't chip it from rocks that kick up from your tires. Hopefully I will get it back tomorrow. I have seen lots of people on TW use bed liner spray too.

Black...anything else will look twice as crappy as it gets caked in mud, road grime, etc and you'll be painting it at least once every year to make it look even half-assed decent.

 

paint it with some of that bed liner stuff

 

thats one way to pick.

you should color match it though.
