    My condolences to your family and you with your loss. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with the 1st responders, but as a Trauma nurse, I just had to speak out in their defense. In my years working in a busy ER, I have found that the EMS teams are the most dedicated and hard working individuals I have ever met. They are, from my experience, totally engaged in saving peoples lives, do their absolute best, often under extreme circumstances, and frequently endanger their lives to do so. If they took 45 minutes to get to your uncle, I can assure you it was not because they were stopping off at the doughnut shop. If you do want to know the exact time it took, and if there were any delays, you can contact the EMS service and get the response log. It will also be part of the patient medical records, for that you can contact the hospital HIM department and request the records. As emergency providers, we do our very best to provide optimal care and save lives, I have often worked through a full 12 hour shift and up to 6 hours of additional overtime without a lunch break, and hardly time to go to the bathroom. During trying times such as what we are going through right now, healthcare workers go into work every day knowing that they are putting their lives at risk, but do it anyway, because we became healthcare providers because we wanted to help people. Again, I am sorry for your loss, nothing can bring your loved one back, and as an emergency healthcare nurse, I truly do empathize, but do want you to also know that we do our best every day to provide the best care we can.

    @CusterFan

    I see in your profile you're from SE IL. Just guessing, but I'm just guessing you live in a rural part of the state. Where I live in MS, it's mostly rural. I live about a 15-20 min drive south of Memphis off I-55. I'm an E-911 dispatcher for the one of the local municipal PDs. Often times, more than not, we have to send our ambulances to assist the county. Simply because the county responders are volunteers and there is no guarantee they can/will respond. And the county doesn't keep ambulances throughout the county. Saying that, our FD and EMS responders do the best they can. Sometimes, that response time is forever because they are having to come out so far. And the minutes seem like forever, especially when someone you love is not responding. And it seems like even longer at night (when I normally work). I've had to listen to a mom tell her son repeatedly over the phone she "loves him." And he wasn't much older than me -- and I'm 40. Sadly, he passed away due to poor health and life choices (being what they were).

    I honestly am sorry for your loss. 9-1-1 can only send what responders they have available. I, too, had to dial 9-1-1 several years ago. And I waited about 30 mins for an ambulance. And where I was living at the time was even more rural than where I am now. So you can only imagine how I felt waiting for an ambulance.

    @Interbeing: I don't envy you and your job. Somehow, we are all inter-related in public safety responses. You see the best/worst in human nature. I just have to hear it.

    I'm a purchasing manager, I buy stuff all day long for work. This is a super common practice now. "It is in stock...at the factory", but they often don't really check and have no idea of actual stock quantities. Always call ahead when ordering online if you are actually in a rush.

    Let me know if you have any questions I might be able to help out with.

    Couldn't for the life of me get the glove box section out all the way, but make it work.

    There's a tiny lip on the bottom of the lower panel insert that fits into the groove on the lower panel.

    Get everything fixed in place (see my clamping system) before you start epoxying. I used the plastic bond (tan is all HD had in stock) from jbweld. I let it set for almost a day to be sure.

    Took it to the dealer and had TSB-0092-20 done today. Will see if it made a real difference in a couple weeks when I get it on open road heading out to Indiana.

    I had hit him up on the 14th as to where have you been? He came back with snow removal, Xmas stuff, work schedule as excuses for not being here. We all get busy sometimes and yes I hate to miss a day on here too, takes a while to get caught up.

    This TSB doesn’t apply to your truck but others do. If you have less than 80,000 miles it’s free if you can get your dealership to do it. Some of them are real a$$holes about it and some do it with no questions asked.

    FedEx has decided to deliver to my garage door instead of my front door which is bright yellow and visible from the street.

    I’m not surprised. The FedEx Reddit page is full of horror stories. I’m glad you’re able to get your packages though. I’m waiting to receive wheels that they marked delivered last week but never showed up. I already filed a claim and let Method Wheels know already. Hopefully they send me another set soon.

    My fuse block came with a circuit breaker. My compressor already has fuses inline on the power cables. Only thing needing a fuse is maybe my winch but it has a breaker now too. I was just wanting to clean up my positive battery terminal. Maybe this isn't the right part for the job...

    Alright, maybe I’m just being too gentle, but I’m having a heck of a time getting my tail lights out to do the Meso stage 1 update.. I know I’ve removed the correct bolts, but the tails seem to be stuck in there and I hear plastic creeking so I’m being a bit of a baby about pulling any harder.

    Any tips for those that did this recently? Do I need to pull from a certain place first? Or just pull until it pops loose? Please feel free to point and laugh along with your responses.
