Buyer Beware: KTJO 4X4 Driver's Side Grab Handles w/ A Pillars, HUD, and Bowl Lights

I do understand wanting to sell as many as possible, but would it have really been too much to ask to close off ordering until REAL pre-orders were filled? It's not like she was going to lose out on sales from other companies in the meanwhile.

I still don't even know if I need to pay for shipping since her website didn't charge me originally... yet the bowl lights on the same order shipped out without a request for shipping.

Also, I'm guessing she either didn't make it through the 180 (or 189) labels yesterday... or several of us really got missed/overlooked.

 

And the worst part about it???

No Fukkin Communication!

 

Well that and the fact that I could order one today and have it shipped tomorrow yet those of us that ordered a year ago are left completely in the dark.

 

Me neither. Par for the course... big promises, with no follow through.

Interesting. Today, if I try to see FB without an account, it seems to be driving me to a login / create an account page only. I tried a couple browsers and my phone.

Jerks.

 

I asked about the status of my order on Dec 22 (a year after placing said order) and the reply was:

“Well I’m sure yours is in the mix as I have all orders printed and they are in no particular order but organized by grab handle color”

Did not inspire my confidence in the process. I haven’t bothered contacting her since because it’s futile. Like attempting to resist the Borg.

However it’s amazing that it never crossed her mind to fulfill the orders by the age of the order.

Simply doing this - and staying on top of communication - would have kept the majority of you happy.

If I’m reading this right she has less than 200 of these to deal with - correct?

It seems in this case that the benevolent mods were wise in kicking her out....

 

Honestly, who even knows at this point? I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know for sure.

 

The list that was posted on her website was close to 400. It is gone now. Still, you are exactly correct.

For what was noted about the ban, the handling of this kit is inline with that.

 

just got my emails from Katie stating she will send me a new upper bolt cover. Then I got another email with a tracking number, so I guess new upper cover on the way.

 

I guess I must be one of the 181 -189 orders that wasn't shipped out yet? lol, no tracking# still for me.
I'd be so Happy to have a tracking# even though the package wasn't recv'd by USPS. It'd be some kind of update that it's still processing thru her process

That USPS Informed Delivery does not list any packages either, it just lists mail that's at the local Post Office to be delivered today

 

Ditto... I'd even take an update on any of the social media platforms she uses. Hell even if it's "Sorry to all the early pre-orders that haven't shipped out yet, I sent out all my stock to the people who ordered in the last two weeks"... at least it would be an update.

 

You may not get a tracking number, i at least did not and the only way I knew what it was was because of the Usps informed delivery.

 

Apparently personal responsibility is not in her tool kit.

 

Nothing has shown up on my informed delivery, but then again sometimes USPS decides to add it to informed delivery after it's already been delivered... they try...

 

An update

 

Right there with ya. Crickets other than the shipping conf email from the 14th which I replied to twice.

The original thread has the first 169 preorders which was as of June 6. Wonder how many actually got theirs shipped or even a label created from that group yet? Seems like the only ones getting communications and handles are the newer orders which is total BS.

I don't think she comprehends the damage shipping new orders immediately is doing to future pre orders. The shipping delay is completely understandable but shipping new orders ahead of the originals is a complete FU to the ones that help fund the entire project.
