Iv seen some decent ones on Craigslist... I have a 15 year old “green” craftsman 11 hp 30” opening that I use ... yes it’s big but when we get big snow... it works out. Was a hand me down from the late FIL ... put a China carb on it coupe years ago and still working good... just noticed it using oil so I gotta pay attention to that.

If I recall the one on sale at TSC was a Troy Built, but yes looking at a used one might be a option. And can't ever go wrong with a hand me down. The tractor supply store has good deals hard to beat occasionally. I purchased safe there for $750.00 decent deal.

I used to wear insulated flannel shirts, never tucked in. I was running our old manual lathe one day threading a part. I noticed my head getting closer to the lathe and realized my shirt was wrapping around one of the feeder bars. Luckily it was turning slow and I put it in reverse. After that and getting a 4 1/2” angle grinder hung in it, I quit wearing them all together.

Yes, lucky indeed it only takes a second. There are many a gruesome video, I don't particularly care to look for but a coworker pulled one up a week ago. Awful. I too have had a angle grinder incident but this was a big boy 8" with cup brush and just spinning down, switch off. I had been knocking slag off some welds.

I better go hit it one more time with that little booger, and do some manual trim work with shovel.

Wow, snow finally subsided. I may be feeling some small tool insecurity now lol, that last go around was wet and heavy and barely got the job done. Then felt like the hand scooping portion about to blow my ticker up. Many a men suffer heart attacks with snow shovel in hand:eek:

If you need to buy a bigger snow blower, you won’t hear any of us holding you back. Pick the one you want, then get the next size up. Done, no regrets

I’ve been moving some things around and came across this box of shotgun shells. The shell is a paper casing attached to the brass. I have no idea how old they are, someone gave them to me a while back.

Based on the scrolling script on the box, I would say in the 50's at some point.

Those shot shells are a cool! I remember when very young, my stepfather had several boxes that were old back then 76 ish, anyway we took them out and shot them all off. Seems like the ones we had didn't have ridges but were smooth on the outside.

I would guess not much fun at all Cory. Sure looks like it would be much fun though when running!

Luckily the ground is frozen so my shop rollers helped, but it’s 15 with a 10mph wind and I’m sweating, but she’s on the lift now.

Im willing to bet it’s lime green, but due to the snow it matches! :p

So, today I had a lazy day and planned on cutting some trim and painting it. But instead, got up late, cooked a crap-ton of bacon and eggs as a brunch for the family, then decided it was time to pay the Taco some attention. Finally touched up the paint damage and got the bumper on. I’m not super happy with the figment, but it is on and I can adjust it more later.
looks a lot better than the tree damaged bumper!
