When I'm doing stuff like this in the winter I always make sure the truck is sitting in a heated garage for a bit before applying. Did you do this outside on a cold truck?

Yes... should I pull it in and hit it with a blow dryer to heat it up?

Yeah applying that outside to a cold truck would be the reason why you're not liking the 3m. I'm not sure if bringing it in and hitting it with a blow dryer would help as I haven't tried it, couldn't hurt at this point though.

Shit. Maybe I’ll just take them all off and get some new 3M strips. Redo it in the garage after heating it up.

    or wait til spring...

Did finish the Stage 1 tail install. I have hyper flash on the passenger side, so I'll need to have the resistors shipped. I dont think I want to chance pulling the tails off again to uninstall, so I'll just drive a few days with hyper flash.

I put the Weather Tech on mine but I am pretty sure it said not to install unless it was 50F or hogher. And the Tacoma letters I put on my grille use 3M tape and said the temp should be 70F, I think. I would definitely wait until you can get some heat on them.

I’ll just keep my windows up for now. They seem to be pretty snug in there right now.

Mine recommended you let the windows up for 24 hours after install to let them seat anyway.

I think our trucks might be twins minus the color, beautiful taco you got there.

They do look cool. I’m hoping they set well enough to use in the near future.

All you need now are some MESO turn signals and you're good to go . The mods keep adding up and up

Yeah, waiting on my meso chrome delete kits. I might just tint the OEM mirror signals. They aren’t necessary for rose use.

Finally got around to swapping out the the grille surround...OEM SR black for the original chrome. Makes a big difference, but still thinking about a Pro/Bro grille. Just don’t want to deal with any TSS issues.

Also put Lamin-X on the fogs. Like the yellow color/change, but not thinking that will be a long term mod. Was disappointed that the films don’t cover the entire lens...especially after taking the time to pull the assemblies out through the wheel wells to make sure I got them on well. No one will probably notice but me, but would recommend anyone else doing this to just apply them in place.

The LED that comes with the MESO kit is worth it. I'm in the process of completing my chrome delete kit myself. Just need the shift trim.
