    Hello Gents,

New to the forum, just got myself a brand new cement taco!

I am looking to add a bull bar for esthetics, and from what I gather, adding something like this to the front may obstruct the sensors in the front.

Is anyone able to chime in?

This is what I have in mind.

    https://www.gorhino.com/rc4-lr

    Thanks in advance!

They look like ass in my opinion plus don't do anything but add more problems if you get into an accident. Side view looks cheap the way they are mounted to the front end. I say buy something else!

    Welcome to the forum!

I don't care for them. A front end accident is likely to cause much more damage with than without.

I've never seen any love for them on TW, mainly because of the accident variable.

Welcome to TW, can't really comment on the Bull Bar, it wouldn't be my first choice.

It says right on the website it won't work with TSS. Also, don't like them.

Go full armor up front if you need to protect from bumping shopping carts. No to bull bar from me though.

They are ugly and don't offer any functional reason to own imo.
The approach angle is even worse with this on the truck. Don't bother.

    OP,
Welcome, and when I say this, I'm not being a smartass- have you seen them in person? IMO they look horrible due to the way they mount, especially when looking at side view, they just hang off the frame, like buckteeth. If it's what you like, go ahead, just a word of caution if you haven't seen in person.

Do this. Probably won’t interfere with sensors.45F4C3C3-DB26-4BB2-B261-BE060B4956BA.jpg

Was nearly raped once by a pair of buck toothed girls late one night at a bar in Jackson Mississippi.
Possibly that's what has led to my life long aversion to bull bars. :notsure:

I think we've lost sight at what OP is asking here. He wants to know if the TSS will be effected by the bull bar not our opinion on the esthetics of said bull bar. I had one on my 1st gen and thought it was bad ass. On the 3rd gen not so much but that's why I went with SSO stage 2 Slimline.

Thanks Gentlemen! First time owner of the taco, Im open to everything. If the general consensus is that the Bull bar doesnt even look good esthetically, then I probably wont be going down that path. What would yall recommend for actual protection? There are wayy to many options out there and I have not a clue on whats good and quality.
