I'd love to see one too Pics on website are Tundra. I know that the 58" long bed Max Modular racks will fit into the short box generally, anyone know if that is the case also with the softopper rack?

We've sold a ton of these to Tacoma owners, but I don't think we've gotten any good pics yet.

In the spring I plan to put a Softopper on my girls TRD Pro, but that's going to be a little while.

We did get a pic of a Raptor yesterday, all decked out with our TOPPER Max.

    Hopefully a picture surfaces! Haha.

Chad, what’s the current lead time on a softopper rack?

Does it fit over the Bestop? That’s right, I’m going against the grain

To the best of our knowledge, it will not fit over a Bestop without modification.

I just got mine put together this evening. Instructions were ummmm....not really any help, but it's pretty straight forward. Bags of nuts and bolts were all seperated out and labelled nicely and everything fit together very well. It feels very sturdy and is light enough to lift/move around with just one person. Connecting the top bars to the cross bars was the most difficult part without anyone helping. I've got to degrease the anti-seize mess off it tomorrow evening and probaby make some adjustments for the width, but hope to get it and the softopper on my truck by Sunday and will post some pics.

WD-40 will take the anti-sieze off everything.

The instructions are simply because assembly is simple.

Yup, I used WD-40 on a bit this evening and it took it right off. It really was very straight forward and everthing lined up and bolted together great. Powder coating is really nice and it felt very solid moving it around after assembled.

Max Modular rack install ended being the easiest part of this. WD40'd the areas with finger prints/anti-seize this morning. Rack is light enough I was able to get it up on the truck myself. About a 5 min process to adjust the width and secure it the bed rail. Rack looks frickin sweet.

Debated installing the softopper today since it didn't get out of the 20s. Decided to keep the top inside to keep it warm and get all the hardware in place. Since the rack doesn't allow for the topper bars to fold, I extended the frame and slid it into place, then pulled the top around the frame. It was a pretty tight fit and pain getting the front and rear snaps on the bars this way. I removed the front and rear windows to prevent any scratching/damage.

I put a bit more foam down for the topper bedrails, but ends near the cab and tailgate still bend upwards around the rack mounting brackets, even after trimming away foam aound the bed rack mounting brackets. After an hour struggle and the wife's help, I was able to get everything snapped in 25 degree weather, but the bars are pulling up almost 3/4" in the front and rear. Thinking about getting an 1/8th" aluminum plate to run between the rack mounting feet to try and get the bars more flush. The rack itself fits pretty nice around the softopper, with about an inch of clearance on top.

It was dark when everyting finally got attached, so no pictures yet. Curious what other folks are doing to level out the softopper rails to prevent buckling of the ends. Ordered some additonal softopper clamps, as I have room to get another in at the very ends of the bedrail. I think the aluminum plate between the mounting feet will help greatly also.

Still need to do some adjusting to the softopper and rail, but took a few pics while out and about today. It didn't get much above freezing today and I wanted to get on the river, so didn't mess with anything other than the softopper mounting brackets a bit. Moved them out a bit on the bed and got rid of a little bit of the gap, but looks like we may get a day in the 50s this week so I'll mess with it when it's not so cold. I don't have the front or rear window in place yet, so it doesn't look very clean right now.

After my hasty install last night, I think a better approach would have been to not bolt the mounting feet to the rack and had some help putting the rack in place on the truck with the brackets still loose. Then install the bracket feet and lift off the rack to install the softopper and then put the rack back in place. It would have been a bit easier that way in hindsight. Probably still would have had a tough time getting the snaps in place due the cold anyways.

Installed the outboard bike racks this weekend. Extremely fast shipping, and was ready to rock some nice bike shuttles while kayaking. Managed to mount my Yakima paddle holder fairly easily to the bars, but still trying to figure out the best way to mount a kayak stacker. Looks like rhino rack makes a t-slot stacker, but would like to somehow retrofit my yakima stacker to work with these bars.

Man that's a good looking setup! How's the rack holding up now that you've had it a while? I just want to verify what height you went with and does the softopper fold up with the rack installed? Thx!
