    What’s going on? I’m Mike, new to the forum and glad to see Maryland is making a splash on here! I’m from Carroll County, more specifically Westminster. Just bought my first Tacoma back in April, and couldn’t be happier. Looking for any advice on local off-road shops that may specialize in Toyotas... Thanks in advance!

    Welcome, I’m new here as well. I’ve had work done at Appalachian Off-road in Westminster. I had lift alignment, CMC and wheel installed and I’m pleased with the work and price. Mike does good work for a good price. He’s going to be doing gears for me. I know he’s done other Tacoma’s and he seems super confident about it. Hope this helps!

    Morning to all!
    Appalachian OffRoad... didn’t know they were still around honestly. They used to be real big with the Jeep community around these parts. I think almost every Jeep had their windshield sticker, no other work, just windshield sticker. Lol! About 10 years ago, they put the front lift on my 3/4 ton Chevy I used to have. That’s good to know that they are still in the area though, I appreciate it.

    I know almost everyone on here wheels their trucks, but anyone riding 4wheelers? My sone and I ride as well and are looking for places to ride.

    I used to have a nice small network of trails, but the tornado earlier this year destroyed nearly all of them. Now my ATV just gets put to work clearing storm damage.

    Friends and myself used to rent 13ac off of rt.27 and we had a fully groomed track... it was awesome! Rode almost every weekend until some a**hole kids started sneaking up there at 2am on weeknights... cops would get called and go to the farmers house banging on his door. After a summer of that, he sadly had to take the land away from us. Ten plus years we were there with no problems, and a couple bad apples spoiled the bunch!

    I grew up outside of Baltimore. We used to ride down in GlenBurnie across from the old CycleWorld and back behind that cemetery. But that place got pretty bad from last I heard. Lot of people getting robbed for their bikes and all. Not going to risk taking my 9 year old son down there. Another great place was CocaCola Drive. But I hear that officers patrol that area heavily and will impound bikes.

    I don’t want to piss anyone off, or risk having anyone hurt... just looking for ideas on free local places to ride.
