Practicing on knives with softer steels but im loving the new sharpener so far. This Kershaw Atmos is pretty sharp with the 1000 grit stone.

My Dad is the type of guy that carries a $4 pocket knife and buys the cheap $9 commando knives as Christmas presents. I decided he needed an upgrade.

I have a Wicked Edge as well. Easily one of the better sharpening systems. There are other systems for sure. But this one tops them all :D

Yeah ive only had cheap budget sharpeners and this one is by far the best I've had. I'll probably end up picking up finer and finer stones as time goes on lol but im happy with it so far.

Step dad felt it needed a couple more coats of polyurethane but this was a lot of fun. I may have to go get some scales for a spyderco next time....

He is going to send it to me after it's completely sealed and waxed

Gerber US-ASSIST - 420HC, SERRATED - on the small side but a great pocket knife that actually fits in the pocket. Has a clip on the other side with a lock. I like it because the handle has weight so it felt more balanced than others I looked at.

You and everyone else lol. There's a black reverse tanto on r/knife_swap right now but the seller wants $250 for it, otherwise if one is listed it's claimed within a few minutes. I've been hoping for another drop of the blue Ti version but I have no idea if that will happen again.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I ran over a hammer, man that shit sounded bad in the wheel well

for sure yea same here, but the way that knife punctured the actual wheel as well seemed rather impressive for what I would have deemed a relatively low budget knife

It almost looks like the tire was stabbed and when the driver took off, it fully punctured the tire (which is not to say that is how it happened). And the knife looked pretty new.

Said it happened over rail road tracks. Bet the knife fell in the groove between the rail and was standing straight up

yea knife looked very clean, i thought it said in the video it picked it up going over railroad tracks, the tire puncture wasnt the impressive but the way it stabbed and punctured the actual rim itself was pretty wild, that blade must have but sitting perfectly in the rail road track
