So I’m rearranging some stuff and came across this box of .410 slugs and sent it to the owner of the hardware store. He said from the looks of the code on the price tag they’re from 1979

Like that hand stop. I wish my PCC had that instead of what it does have. Unfortunately I'd have to change the hand guard to be able to fit that.

I’ve watched quite a few of his YouTube videos. I respectfully disagree with his assessment of suppressors on home defense guns but he has lots of good info.
I just canceled our cable subscription so I turned around and put 1/10th of the money into subscribing to his paid network and started watching it last night, the “Unbreakable Mind” series looks like it will be good and I’ve watched 3 episodes of “war poet” and it’s pretty good so far.

I like the network so far, I need to watch the pistol and rifle series, I just haven’t made it that far yet.

5" barrel with a CMMG RML4 in Midnight Bronze. It has a small integrated hand stop which would prevent an aftermarket hand stop from being able to run all the way out to the end of the hand guard. I threw a KVP linear comp on it to add a little length to the barrel to keep me from shooting my fingers off and come bonus time it will get an Omega 9K to pretty much live on it so I'm not terribly worried about upgrading the hand stop.

That's about the only thing I disagree with him on.

I use to have the same HG that came on a Andro Corp upper, but in 9in. Guess only the short ones had that hand stop built into it. That's pretty neat they did that.

Looking at their website the RML4 is the only one with an integrated 'hand stop'. Even the 6" lacks one.

You got me curious, but not curious enough to go find his YouTube videos. What is his assessment, and why do you disagree with it?

His take is that if something happens and he has to go hot he wants everybody in his neighborhood to be aware so they call emergency services, personally I don’t want to discharge my 11.5” 556 or even a pistol caliber indoors without hearing protection and the fastest hearing protection is a suppressor on the muzzle of your firearm.
Having shot both pistol and carbine inside vehicles with ear pro on, suppressed and unsuppressed I know that the concussive blast messes with me as well and a suppressor helps mitigate the concussive blast.

At the end of the day I value the noise/concussive mitigation more than having a 6” shorter rifle or pistol, it’s just my personal preference.

Yea, I'm with you. I think he also might be surprised how few neighbors would actually call 911. Most of the time when people hear gunshots they assume it's something else like thunder or fireworks.

Friend of mine posted that on Fb and I responded with my very first original meme.
