    Oem filters for me! Many people have their own prefetrnce for filters or just buy whatevers on sale.

    You're going to get many different answers.

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    Engine: Whatever you feel comfortable using as long as it's of good quality you should be fine (some people like using reuseable filters here, others will tell you they will destroy your engine so you will have to choose if you want to go that route) if your unsure, you can't go wrong with OEM.

    Cabin air filter: K&N makes a nice washable one that works well and will save money in the long run, there's also a DIY washable cabin air filter in the tips,tricks,mods sticky thread.

    I use Wix, Napa Gold, or OEM for the engine.

    I have a cleanable K&N for the cabin air filter. Everytime I go offroad it turns into a sandbox and I got tired of replacing the disposable ones.

    I'm from the don't use oiled filters, cold air intake cone filters, or washable/reusable filters school.

    They won't make your engine blow up but they do not filter anywhere near as well and the oil can wick off (even if you don't over oil) and carbonize on the hotwire of the mass airflow leading to lower MPG and poor performance.

    Until you have time to do a little independent study, and make your own decisions, stick with OEM. As cited earlier, there are a myriad of aftermarket alternatives to OEM.

    I use Oem air filter and just recently switched to these
    $13 EPAuto CP374 (CF10374) Cabin Air Filter includes Activated Carbon Replacement for Toyota Tacoma (2005-2021), Dodge Dart (2013-2016), Pontiac Vibe (2003-2008)
    cabin filters (to help filter nasty exhaust fumes from the jeep in front on me). They seem pretty popular compared to spending $17-20 for Oem and these are carbon .

    i use these for the cabin air as well and I like them. I go OEM for the engine air filter, I’m more concerned with the air going into my engine than what’s filtering the air into the idiot box.
