Hey guys just have to get this off my chest.. My 03 Taco was in excellent condition until last Friday, when this 20 year old decided he needed to make a right turn from the left lane right where I was. Needless to say he got most of the damage, he hit my front wheel with his door and fender. Taco had some damage,
Fender, flare, bumper, valance panel, inner fender well, headlight filler.
They est. about $2700.00 in damage, and 2 weeks to repair.

When will these people in little cars learn.. we still win in the end,
And to my loving wife, it's not just a car.... it's my TACOMA..

WOW.. I kinda feel better, but not much.

oh man I'm sorry I totally know how you feel! Its not just a car! Its My TRUCK!!! I have a really really tough time not caring when things happen to her. At the halloween party I was at this year a bunch of vehicles got egged (including mine) I didn't know until the next day and when I found out I lost it. It was a good thing the bastards who did it weren't around cause I would have cut their dicks off and shoved them down their own throats.... seriously

Anyways I'm sorry bout your Taco man that really really sucks

Sorry to hear about the accident. I was involved in one accident with my truck, so little 19yr girl misjudged her distance & slid under the Tacoma. Her car was a tow special, mine looked fine. Needless to say I called work & explained I was going to be late. I drove straight to the body shop to make sure my baby was not damaged. Nothing worse then the driver at fault talking shit to the cop attempting to make you look like a mass murderer & actually you are totally innocent of his bullshit lies.

not a tacoma but still a good story... I was running out for lunch at my job one night and on way back I passed a bar with a kia suv getting ready to pull out... I go by and like 3 miles down rd I put on my left turn signal and wait to turn (had on coming cars) I look in mirror in time to see the kia disappear under tailgate of my truck (1982 chevy K-30 crew cab 8 ft bed ex airforce truck) he hits me at around 45mph and spins me into the oncoming traffic... I get it pulled to side of rd and he gets out (really red in face) and starts yelling how I didnt have turn signal on blah blah blah... I turn real slowly and my truck is sitting along rd with the left turn signal STILL on... I turn back to him slowly...and he suddenly goes..."you not calling the cops are you?" gets all panicked and gets me his insurance card etc.I called cops and they said if no one was hurt they would be 30 mins getting there and if he was exchanging info to just let it go ... his car 100 %totaled... my truck bumper and bedside (the bumper pushed in on corner and put a 4" dent in bed I wouldnt let them putty it made them replace the whole side)... just funny how people act when it was obviously their fault anyhow
