Mine is a 50" Vizio. I bought it in 2009 and it's been working fine until recently when it randomly decides to turn itself off. I'm wondering if it's because the vents were coated with dust so it's getting overheated. I'm tempted to buy a wall mount for it and throw it out in the garage. :D

Close to 10 years ago one of our outage themes had something to do with the space shuttle and count down to success. I asked my then supervisor because of the whole space shuttle thing, would he please address me as Major Don for the duration of outage. He got such a kick out that he used it until his passing. 20201229_212415.jpg

It was a spin on the song Major Tom , where something went horribly horribly wrong..I think the tether from his space capsule broke and he floated off into space. Ground Control to Major Don....

Neighbor brought me a small welding job, guess I’ll have to uncover the ole Millermatic 210 in the shop. Haven’t used it in some time, usually take small jobs to work

I always kept the beatings sticker covered with my hard hat light band. Then some time ago everyone was required to get a new hard hat no stickers allowed. Plus I think the recommended replace after 7 years.

My dad has had this 2003 Chevrolet for several years, he drove it to the store today. I noticed the tailgate, he forgot to put it down after unhooking his gooseneck trailer once. He and my brother put a board on it and drove a tractor over it and put it back on :D

He told me he has someone coming to look at it today, he doesn’t drive it much and said it’s time to let it go. It has 80k miles on it.

I tried to buy it 5 years ago and he didn’t want to sell it. I’m glad, it only gets 11mpg on a good day.

Many years ago I needed to haul one of dads tractors one day after work. He had a dodge at the time and when I came home he said I hooked the (same) gooseneck trailer up for you.

I started up the ramps and the trailer came off the ball in the bed, luckily it didn’t move forward. I eased it back off the ramps, had to jack the trailer up and get it back on the ball.

I always double check to make sure the latch is on now when I hook mine. Dad sold his last year when he got out of the hay/cattle business.

This reminded me of a time a few friends and me drove 2 hours or so away to pick up a milling machine.

Having a tilt bed trailer and a winch to pull it onto the trailer as we started to winch it up the trailer lifted right off the ball ( pull behind) to this day the fact the trailer was not lost on the way boggles my mind .
