you should be able to unscrew the cap without turning the cable. I just double checked that on mine.

    Same crap everyone else got
Haha, that's the same story I hear from most people with car hobbies. I have a mid 90's cobra project I just drove last week for the first time since June. To do that I had to remove the front seat that is currently residing on the vehicle roof, the 50 other various items that resting on the decklid and roof. Hopefully I'll start back on it soon. (I say with little confidence haha)

Doesn't work on mine. I will just remove light and mount when the time comes. Thanks for checking!

I've tried it on three different lights of the same exact model. One hand on the knurled part and other hand holding the back piece in place. That back piece is designed to be independent so you can route the cable in the desired direction.

Pre emissions and precomputer is fun and simple in ways. Some people love to swap over an LS into the older cars though and get great results but no bling

I got a Savior Equipment mag pouch carrier thingy today. The quality is excellent and carries six 30-round mags nicely, either by handle or by strap. It's compact, secure and was inexpensive at $23. It's a great piece of gear to add to your battle load out. Perfect for grab and go in a hurry. I'd recommend a few.

Since I have a few .308 shells and no .308 rifle Ima start looking for a low priced AR10. Not gonna buy until the prices come down and they are widely available. :fingerscrossed: I have a DPMS 5.56 that I like after a few mods and glass.

    Suggestions plz.

I know some folks look down on Radical but I’ve been happy so far granted I haven’t been able to shoot it a lot as I was waiting on optics. From what I have see their AR10 uppers and lowers are nice and reasonably priced just an idea at least something to look at.

I bought my lower from Palmetto State Armory for $200. The upper was a blemished upper also from PSA for $340, 18” SS barrel and M-LOK fore end. BCG was about $100. I didn’t find anything blemished on it. I know people bad mouth PSA but this rifle has been fine and shoots accurate. These prices were also before the BS going on now. It was also cheaper to buy the complete upper and lower separately than to buy a complete rifle.

when building a 308AR, I definitely recommend getting the same brand of upper and lower receivers. Not just because there about 5 different types of "AR-10s", but also because even when two different companies are making LR308 or SR25 pattern uppers/lowers, they often have different tolerances on things like the radius of the curve at the back of the lower receiver where the buffer tube/receiver extension threads in.
