The tcase still works like stock, if you CANT shift 4wd hi on the fly like before something is majorly F'd up. I have an unsynchronized lefty gear driven case and I can still shift on the fly fine if my hubs are locked. Pre lefty/SAS I used to shift the chain drive case on the fly all the time just like stock in the snow with a CB.

If it's anything like my ARB, all you have to do it switch on the compressor and locker and it'll engage in any condition.

Edit: he beat me to it.

    Fernando,
I know the ARB locker seal appreciates 100psi and if using an ARB compressor, is regulated to that pressure.
You may have a bad regulator at the compressor which may have blown out the seal.

I would love for that to be the case. The sound it makes engaged kinda scares me . lol. It doesnt sound pretty

But why is it not heard or noticed in 4wd right?

I had bad luck with arb. 2 of the unit I had in the past leaks like there's no tomorrow. Got annoying after awhile. I can careless for those who said their arb don't leak, everyone I know and their grandma's who ran arb leak.

Primary issue with arb is a lot of folks who have them run synthetic oil which deteriorate the seal quickly.

Heck, my crappy factory elocker is more reliable than my arb at the time.

The 3 mall crawler I know with tjm don't have this issue (leaking or annoying compressor engaging) and been running them for years. Might be because of their designed, a piston driven actuator (tjm) vs a seal (arb). Who knows? That's why I went tjm. Plus, tjm carries a lifetime warranty on their prolocker. Can't beat that warranty.

For myself, I have always ran an ARB compressor to activate the front & rear lockers. Never had issues.
I can activate the front and rear lockers separately in both 2wd & 4wd. Gotta love the lack of electronics.

My arb comp cycle every few minute. I just consider it normal after a while, nothing a radio can't overpower.....

It's a norm trend for all the folks I know with arb to have their comp cycle between 3-5 minutes.

Thank you sir. Tired of my gun under the seat when driving. I jumped out one time and kicked it into a puddle of water . :frusty:

This will be a nice spot for the gun when offroad. And i like that the radio fits too. I didn't like the previous spot
