I was extremely close to doing the same, but I don't even use my cab rack, basically just an aesthetic accessory for me and holds lights lol. I'll have to see as camping season kicks into gear in a few months if I can justify the top rack to myself. Trying to be a bit more budget conscious on this build over time.

Post yours up once it is installed so I can have motivation to spend more haha.

I’ll post some pics up when I get the shell and when I have a chance to add the rack whenever that may be. Lol

Your truck is rated for somewhere around 1,380-1,620 lbs. These caps only weigh around 200lbs. They are fiberglass. My top is made from steel and aluminum and is probably close to 500. I'm not trying to be a ass, but if it sagged a little I'd be okay with driving it for a week until I got some new springs, or helpers or whatever. I have no idea why folks (not you) are obsessed with this. It's a truck. If a bird lands on a Chevy or Ford 2500, it looks like there's 50 dead cows in the rear. I have not seen that with these trucks. Good luck Sir, and if I see you saggin, I promise I won't cuss ya. LMAO.

Looks sweet. Also makes me laugh again at local Leer dealer defiantly telling me you can’t do windoor sliders on a DCSB XR.

Yeah I’ve heard all kinds of horror stories from can’t order windoors to the roof tracks being flipped the wrong way.

I had my fingers crossed driving there

When I got there they brought it out and everything was how I ordered it, so I was relieved.

What kind of rack are you using on the roof rails? I just got the exact shell in the same color.

I’m glad I did if it helps your decision out or not.

Definitely wasn’t fun installing by myself, but I’m very happy with it.

So did you do anything different with your TRD decals to get them not to be partially covered by your canopy/topper?
I just ordered an ARE topper because My OCD couldn’t handle the sticker overlap on Leer and Snugtop. It’s too late for me now, but a little curious...

No I removed them a while ago, and didn’t run them for a while.

One weekend I decided to install the flat black ones. I could still see some light ghosting in the paint from where the factory decals were.

I just placed the new ones pretty much where the old ones were. I want to say the passenger side was a little off , but nothing I couldn’t live with.

In all honesty I was a little worried that the Leer was going to cover them a little. But it all worked out and neither side of the topper cover the decals.

    I guess I got lucky

It’s a Thule tracker 2 rack, I like it a lot, don’t even notice it’s there at all like I did with my prinsu Cab rack.

I just have a colour-matched ARE V series cap. No windows. It does what I want. Going to install a bike pullout slide on the driver side eventually. But never really thought about sleeping in it. Likely to get a rack and a rtt later.
