I think it looks badass, but, since the exterior of my truck is all blacked out, I kind of like the metallic trim and chrome accents on the inside. It breaks everything up a little bit.

Started my blackout today. Found out that the matte black radio surround must be for the upgraded nav as it doesn’t fit my setup :annoyed: Still need to do the steering wheel trims, paint the gauge cluster rings and door speaker trim, and find a new shifter. I have the Hilux 4x4 switch on order and waiting for @kgarrett11 to make the next batch of rings. Although not finished, I’m liking the change already.

Edit - And a big shoutout to @Cativelense for gathering all the info for this!

I'm curious if it's possible to use all this on an 09 tacoma, anyone know? I would love to upgrade the head unit to a newer year model. I've got the non-jbl stock cd player in my 09 and would love something with apple car play and/or android auto but I don't know if a swap to the newer head units is possible. I've done some searching with no real clear answer so far. I know I could go aftermarket but I kind of prefer the look of the OEM dual din head units with screens.

I ordered and had a 2014 built to spec but had to bail at the last minute.... the option then was called something like “ F5 carpet delete” and lowered the price by $50 bucks... I ended up getting a ‘15 built to spec and when I wanted the carpet delete it wasn’t an option .... I tracked the part number for several years after and it went from about $206 the lowest to what you have today ... shoulda , coulda , woulda on my part .

Hi Guys. Hope i'm asking in the right place. I have a 2015 Tacoma and will be getting black leather Clazzio seat covers. I already have a black center console and black carpet. However, my seat trim panels are grey and I'd like to see if anyone has replaced them with black like the 3rd gens have. Does this exist for my 2015? I'm trying to avoid the contrasting look below if possible. (not my truck below since I haven't bought the seat covers yet. Mine is similar but with a black center console and black carpet).

Those panels come in grey and tan. The only option is to paint them using something like SEM paint.

I'd be willing to give that a try. Same with the seat belt bottoms. Got a recommended Link? Any idea what color matches best? For Dupli-Color paint I saw that they have black and Charcoal black.

I thought about this. I've plastidipped my wheels and grill and am very happy with the results. But I'm curious how Plastidip will hold up to parts that actually get touched and rubbed on a regular basis such as that seat adjustment knob and the seat belts, of course.

Just ordered my center console and steering wheel controls. Does anyone know if they make the dash piece for the Prerunner in black? I found the the one with the 4wheel knob hole in it but not without.

Plastidip is very durable especially if you spray a thick layer even if it wears down you can alway reapply

Here is the website for SEM: https://www.semproducts.com/
I'm not sure what color that they have that will match the grey in our trucks.
I've used their products on my GMC S-15 back in the day. The interior was brown. I used their cleaner/prep on the parts that weren't fabric (dash and door panels) and then sprayed them with their black paint which is more of a dye. Results were perfect.
I removed the parts prior to paint.

Do not skip the clean/prep stage.

Was all of this painted by you, or did you order specific blacked pieces as replacements? I was wanting to do the center console part, specifically the cupholder area because the silver/gray collects dirt easily.

All those parts were ordered in black. The PN for the black center console is 58805-AD010.

I looked this up by the part number you gave, and it says not for SR5 package. I'm wondering if this will still fit. This seems like a better option than trying to paint it for sure.

Yes that's it. I emailed a toyota parts place with the part number you gave me and they said they need the VIN from a vehicle that has the black interior in order to get me a part number. That makes no sense. I'll just go by what you said. Thanks man.
