    Anybody with a hybrid front bumper like body armor hiline with this suspension? And what height setting do you have it on?
    I plan on getting this bumper but still figuring out which suspension I want. I would like maximum lift for aesthetics as it will be mainly street use as a daily driver.

    What setting do you have it on ? Did the weight of the bumper have any effect as dropping it down?

    I have it on the second setting with OME Heavy leaf springs. I filled my bed with concrete and didn’t notice a difference. Weight is not an issue anymore lol9FD804A9-E123-4EFD-80DB-47328EDD1117.jpg

    To all,

    I have read into this thread a bit. Very very good and useful info but I do have some specific questions. I am looking at the kit below @HeadStrong Off-Road and with the specific options chosen. All pictured. With this kit and those specs. I am looking at trying to run either 285/75's 1st option, or 295/70's 2nd option, if all fails I'd just run the 285/70's like everyone else. (Which isn't a bad thing, just want my 1st option the most) I expect some trimming, I expect a CMC. Not afraid of it, just want to know if it's possible and at most what all would need to be done to achieve the installation of the tires I am wanting? I currently have SCS SR8 17x8.5 -10mm 4.5 BS. they are boxed up waiting on a lift and tires. Any info or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    * I have a 2013 Tacoma DCSB 4X4.

    What brand are the 1.5" tapered blocks? Exactly what I'm looking for.

    You're welcome! That's awesome, I've been very happy with the lift and wheels/tires. Wheels are 17x8.5 -10 and the tires are 285/70R17. I went with the 116Q rated tires because they were 10lbs less than the C and E rated versions

    I ran 1" heavy metal blocks for awhile before i went with a AAL. Heavy metal is a good product. The blocks are well built and tapered, and a great price. I would definitely recommend them.

    I like my Wheelers 3 leaf AAL + OL more though:quickdraw:
    I would kick in the extra coin for that $. This set up just feels much more planted.

    I like the blocks, they do seem to be good quality. I originally had non-tapered blocks and had some vibes. I messed around with an angle finder, carrier bearing drop kit and washers but didn't have a whole lot of luck. When I changed the block to these tapered blocks the vibes went away.

    The install was not bad at all. I was able to do it without an extra set of hands. After I got the rear in the air, I loosened both sides but only fully took apart one side at a time. That held it all in place and made it pretty easy.

    Happy New Year. So I finally got my AAL on Wednesday and installed it today. I like the slight rake I have now. This is on the first perch with a body armor bumper with no winch on the front. I also have a rear body armor bumper and now with the add a leaf it rides perfect for me and I love the stance. Next is new tires in a few months.

    Thanks. I also put on a Bravo rack from uptop overland while I waited for the AAL. I waited 4 months to get it. Right now I’m getting 1” 3/4s so yea it should drop a bit once it breaks in.
