Has anybody changed the Acceleration shifting tables to match your primary shift table? I was comparing upshift tables from stock tune to my tune and ran across this.

@Mooseditty17 has messed around with those tables... He may still be tweaking them.

I did. Not really sure if it did anything or not. Moose discovered they control 4 low. No one has confirmed whether they affect anything else. They may be misnamed.

    3450 a noticable improvement over 3400?

I copied the values for 4th gear into 5th gear upshift and downshifts and raised the values by 10. I now have 5th gear in low 4. The problem is something is limiting throttle at 57 mph. 4th gear 6000 rpm. 5th gear 4200 rpm. Both cut out at 57 mph.

    For reference:
3rd gear in 2wd shifts to fourth at 6500 rpm and 111 mph. It's not global speed cutting the throttle.

I ordered VF Tuner this morning. How long is the normal wait to get the license code and download link?

Few weeks but will likely be longer since he's not processing any orders that require to be shipped until after the holidays. Just forget you ordered it and it will arrive faster... Mentally. Lol

My bad, missed that part. It still may take a week or so. I believe Matt uses an outside source for the registry key, so he's at the mercy of their response.

I don’t know. I inched the setting down in 50 rpm increments from 3650 until the surge was gone. Stopped at 3450. Maybe 3400 is even smoother, but I am happy at 3450.

I realized recently I can now pull from 2k up to redline smoothly in the same gear. Never felt like I could do that before. By the time I had enough throttle to pull hard enough to accelerate, the truck would just downshift to redline. Or I would hit the ACIS setpoint and feel like I’d downshifted. No more of that non sense!

I had a frustrating four week vacation with unedited 2.0 driving from Houston to North Dakota, Idaho, Arizona and back. I can't say I ever experienced an egregious fourth gear hang. I keep a ScanGauge hooked up and when I monitor load, it does not appear to have a significant hang. I think it's perception. I think I've crested the hill; but, the load reading says otherwise. I think I'm on flat ground; but, the load reading says otherwise. Etc. It seemed to always shift by ~40 load which then gives a pretty high load in 5th. (My primary frustration was with the huge power gaps between gears/shifts... I have since fixed that.)

Maybe the slight hang is fixed by the "Optimal Transmission Torque For Shifting 10" change? Maybe in those 'hang' situations CC is using those maps? I believe the only shift map changes in 2.0 are in the "#1" set. Apparently, pressing the accelerator while in CC triggers a different logic; perhaps, from the OTTFS10 map (or primary 6/8) back to the #1 maps?

Edit: The obvious caveats... if you have plus tires, plus weight, and plus aero drag mods; then, you're probably much more likely to end up in this fourth gear 'hang' territory.

Yeah I've matched the transmission shift map 6 and 10 to my primary shift maps and will give that a try. As far as the hang you're probably correct if it's in those maps. Appears to shifts better with cruse off.

Here a Mild&Version for the 04A61. It is very similar to the 04B81 tune from @TacoNesian on the first page. I run his tune on my 2020 and I am quite happy with it. If you use the tune please let me know how you like it.

Does anyone have a tune pack for 04B50? Looking for something more aggressive. Where can I get a tune customized? I have the software and 3.5 tune pack already.
